What is a homecoming mum?
A Texas tradition since the 1930s. What started as a real chrysanthemum corsage is now a keepsake: silk flowers, cascading ribbons, bells, glitter letters and trinkets that tell the story of one student's year.
Mums are for her
Worn with a comfortable neck holder (pin backing available upon request). Sizes run from a single flower up to giant triple senior mums with floor-length streamers.
Garters are for him
Worn on the upper arm, built in the same colors and ribbons so couples match. Single or double, with the same braids, bells and name ribbon.

Every regular mum includes 3 cut-outs: the name, school mascot and “HOCO 2026” or “Homecoming.” Upgrade to the deluxe package for 5 cut-outs total. Additional cut-outs are $5/ea, and every add-on is quoted before you pay a cent.

Reserve with 50% deposit
Your spot is locked once the deposit is paid. Venmo, Cash, or ApplePay. Ultra Custom Mums require 75% payment in advance.

Pickup or delivery
Ready 3–5 days before homecoming. Porch pickup Mon–Fri, 10am–7pm CT. Order 3+ mums for the same school and we’ll deliver to the school. Delivery within 25 miles $20.

Books open
July 1 for the fall season. Senior mum slots typically fill by mid-August.
Order cutoff
3 weeks before your homecoming date. Rush orders +25% if a slot is open.
Deposit
50% non-refundable deposit reserves your build. Balance due at pickup.
Payment
Venmo, Cash, or ApplePay. No payment plans past the cutoff date.
Changes
Changes can only be made within 5 days of ordering.
Pickup
Porch pickup Mon–Fri, 10am–7pm CT, 3–5 days before the game. Order 3+ mums for the same school and we’ll deliver to the school. Delivery within 25 miles $20. U.S. shipping at cost.
Care & wearing
- Hang your mum in a doorway or on a hook as soon as you get it — never lay ribbons flat or fold them.
- Keep it dry. If ribbons wrinkle, hold a steamer 8 inches away — never iron.
- Every mum comes with a comfortable neck holder for easy wearing. Pin backing is available upon request.
- Check your school's rules — some campuses limit bells, lights or mum size in hallways.
- After homecoming, hang it in a closet or trim a keepsake section for a shadow box.

What exactly is a homecoming mum?+
A homecoming mum is a Texas tradition: a decorated chrysanthemum (today usually silk) with ribbon streamers, trinkets, bells and a name ribbon, worn to the homecoming game and dance. Girls wear mums with a comfortable neck holder; pins are available upon request.
How far in advance should I order?+
As early as possible — we take orders starting July 1 and books fill fast. The hard cutoff is 3 weeks before your homecoming date. Rush orders inside 3 weeks add 25% when a slot is available.
How much do mums cost?+
Single mums are priced by ribbon length: small (12") $50 (6.5" flower), medium (16") $70 (6.5" flower), large (24") $100 (7.5" flower), and XL (30") $150 (9.5" flower). Double mums start at $200 (36" ribbon, 5 cut-outs included) and senior/triple+ mums start at $260 (minimum 36"). Small garters are $50 (5.5" flower), boot mums are $35 (4.5" flower), and mum keychains are $10 (regular) or $15 (deluxe) with a 3" flower. Regular mums include 3 cut-outs; upgrade to the deluxe package for +$25 to get 5 cut-outs plus intricate chains, boa, extra cut-outs and two free keychains. Additional cut-outs are $5/ea, and cut-outs can also be sold alone at $5 each.
What do you need from me to start?+
School name, student's grade, school colors, whether you want a mum or garter, activities to feature (sports, band, dance, clubs), name spelling, budget and your homecoming date.
Do you do matching sets?+
Yes. Mum-and-garter couple sets get 10% off when ordered together, and we keep a color record so friend groups match.
How is it worn and cared for?+
Mums come with a comfortable neck holder for easy wearing. Pin backing is available upon request. Store hanging in a doorway — never folded. Keep it dry; ribbons will wrinkle. Bells are removable if the school asks.
What's your payment & cancellation policy?+
50% non-refundable deposit reserves your build; the balance is due at pickup. We accept Venmo, Cash, or ApplePay. Cancellations more than 3 weeks out receive the balance back, deposit forfeited. Custom name ribbons cannot be resold.

Any Texas school — we regularly build for Hays, Lehman, Johnson (Buda), San Marcos, Canyon, New Braunfels, Smithson Valley, Clemens, and Johnson (SA). We ship anywhere in the U.S. for actual shipping cost; the buyer is responsible for shipping charges.
